Dear Xakanaxa staff-team!
We like to thank you again for the pleasant stay we had with the whole team in the camp. Especially for the for the extra service to bring me my forgotten shorts to the air-stripe. The french family was so kind and gave me it at the airport in Maun.
Back in good old and cold Germany we still enjoying to remember the wonderful time and great experience we had at your place. We will never forget when Ngandhe asked us: Sundowner or lions?! All of us: LIONS!!!
We never could imagine how fast a Landi can drive trough the game reserve. :-)
We wish you all the best!
Warm regards from tent number 3 and 4!
Simone, Christian, Andy and Kathrin
P.S. You were right - the meerkats were cute.

Dear Bruce and Barbara,
We arrived at your Camp on Tuesday 8th November and left 3 days later.
Our Tour-leader was Flippie and Peter Manz. I’m the man with his movie showing
The Moremi-gang fighting the buffalos
Your food and service was super and we all enjoyed what you did for us.
The onward trip was also very good although it was often to hot (42 degrees)
Thank you for your hospitality.

Dear Sue,
Thanks for our stay in Xakanaxa Lodge and Campsite. October 2011.
After 7 weeks of travelling (self drive) through Botswana and Namibia, we have voted Xakanaxa Lodge as the best place to stay. We adored the main area under the trees. Your staff gave us a warm welcome, your guides are very friendly and knowlegable. It was a pleasure to travel with them. The game drive was long and fascinating, the boat trip idemdito. Brunch and dinner were excellent!! The idea of having everything included, even drinks and washing was a brilliant gesture. Your rooms are comfortable, clean and private. The environment lovely and green.
We couldn’t wish for more.
I can tell you Sue that many lodges can take Xakanaxa as an example; how a Lodge should be managed.
Your Campsite nr 1 was nice and lonely. Just the way we like it.
Only the Ihaha campsite on the Chobe delta wins it from you, because of the enormous amount of animals on the river.
Note: We drove a Nissan X-trail, 4x4, diesel-automatic, with sand tires, little distance holders in the 4 springs and a 4 mm metal plat under the front of the car. Due to this our ground clearance was 3,5 cm more than a Xtrail straight from the factory. We never deflated the tires. In 9500 km we were never stuck and had no flat tire. We drove to Savuti Chobe desert, Ihaha, Skeleton coast and Sossusvlei.
We wish you all the best and a fully booked lodge.
Love Vera
